You could get a DVT in both legs-anything is possible-but it is not very common. People who get multiple DVTs should be checked for a blood disorder that makes clots more common-like Factor V Leiden deficiency, for example. You can have clots anywhere in the legs, calf being most common. If there are clots identified, you would need anticoagulation to avoid new clots forming. Hope this helps!!
