Must be evaluated. You should see your PCP or acute urgent care for an evaluation. You may have an infected lymph node. Monitor temperature and breathing. A throat swab may be indicated.

In addition to a possible enlarged lymph node, this could be a swollen submandibular gland, which is one of your salivary glands. You should get this evaluated as it could be infected. Sometimes, less commonly, there could be a stone present which could cause swelling and pain, too.
