See a doctor ASAP. Generalized vulvar redness and irritation often is yeast infection, but localized to one area suggests other problems, such as some other infection, like genital herpes. Herpes is especially likely if there are blisters or ulcers (open sores) in the inflamed area. Accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of herpes both depend on being seen within a day or two; get seen ASAP.
