Pubic lice ("crabs") grow slowly and are almost impossible to find when only a few are present, early after infestation. You should assume you also are infested and get treated without waiting for visible lice or nits (eggs). Most crabs is acquired sexually: if your partner has had sex with somone else, you both should be tested for common STDs, even though STDs are rare at your age. Good luck.
