Depending on exactly what the "hormone stopper" is, if the "period" is really a post-ovulatory event, it will take place over the same time as a "normal period". If the bleeding is simply withdrawal bleeding from the use of certain kinds of "hormone stoppers", the bleeding may be more brief than a "normal period".
