Significant stress (work, emotional, school) can delay onset of ovulation, which will correspondingly delay onset of menses. Ask your gyn provider for low dose oral bcp's, and if no contraindication, bcp's will stop ovarian hormone production, and regular (pill related) "periods" will occur.
