I recently had tonsillitis and i finished the antibiotics course (amoxicillin 500mg) about two days ago. today i realized that my tongue is white in colour and a there is foam that keeps on forming in mouth. is there a treatment should i consult?

A culture of your tonsils may provide additional information. You may need another course of the antibiotics. Watch for difficulty swallowing, rash and fever.

Start with using a tongue scraper with a bit of toothpaste or hydrogen peroxide gel on it. the foam is probably not related to the antibiotic but the flora of your has been altered and the body it trying to rebalance it.
