Do bruises always blanch under pressure? i have painful red area on my big toe. it turns white when pressed then quickly returns to red. i also have unexplained lesions on my other foot that have been labeled as a vascular issue which may be related?

Would consider evaluation by dermatologist to determine the nature of the lesions. Blanching occurs because you are applying pressure and decreasing the blood flow and when you release blood flow returns. Red swollen great toe may be gout but as no picture is provided not clear. As stated f/u/ w dermatology
