I just had an ultrasound on what we think is infected hair follicle. ive been on antibiotics 9 days and it still hurts. it looks like my vein is swollen or a tendon. im waiting for results but im worried about the vein. what do you think that is?

An infected hair follicle or abscess would be swollen, red& tender and eventually come to a head and drain pus. I'm not sure what kind of an ultrasound you had. You could consult a general surgeon for advice.
