Avoid: waxing, shaving,tight thong undergarments and body oils or lotion. Coal tar derivatives should not be used on the pubic area. Use only gentle shampoo or soap and a very thin layer of 1% hydrocortisone cream. If not red or swollen, I suggest calling your GYN.
