I have left chest pain when i deep breathe. i was diagnosed with tb in 2017 and had fluid on the left side. i took tb meds and finishes in 6 months . the pain never went away. this week it has been worse and i developed productive cough 2 days ago.

Apply local heat to the chest wall and discuss the use of NSAIDs to control pain. TB physician may send you for additional testing and imaging as indicated to ensure that the infection is completely irradiated. TB infection may recur and while there may be several causes resulting in productive cough, TB should be ruled out.
