Personally I use vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E capsules topically daily in the bath or shower along with weekly Aztec Indian clay facial that I purchase at Whole Foods. My biochemistry professor suggested the former, my wife the latter. Add massage to the face.

Retinol creams initially before Lasers, peels etc.
Retinol nightly application across your whole face and rubbed in completely is important with a quality sunscreen/moisturizer each morning
