I live in a small neighborhood with no side walks, but would like to get some fresh air with my newborn. is it safe for newborns to go outside in strollers rolling on asphalt? could the bumpy road be unsafe?

Going outdoors is heathy. Don't delay. I am 82 and did not seem to hurt me. I even used to chew the tar in the streets when it got hot and soft. But cannot recommend that. I would worry about cars about cars on bumpy road. But if evenly bumpy may put baby to sleep which can be good. Try to find park in area. Texas towns usually have some.
