Can i give my 5 yr old 38 lbs, advil and claritin (loratadine) ? she feels warm and has a runny nose

Reconsider meds: Just because she feels warm does not mean you need to give her medicine. She may not even be running a fever, but even if she is, you don't have to give medicine for that. And claritan is really meant for allergies that cause a runny nose. If she has fever and runny nose, then she likely has a cold and not allergies so i would forego the claritan. She needs fluids, rest, humidity and TLC mostly.
