Amenorrhea: Teens and women closer to menopause often times have episodes of no menses (amenorrhea) or oligomenorrhea (lighter and infrequent periods). There are a variety of things other than pregnancy that can cause this including thyroid issues. I certainly would order a serum pregnancy test for you with additional blood work. Excessive weight changes and excessive excercise is another cause.
