A 29-year-old female asked:

I took one dose of vitamin k2 (mk7) and it has caused awful side effects (heart fluttering, chest pains, headaches, dizziness and facial flushing) i took the pill four days ago and still have symptoms. how long does it take for the vitamin to leave?

Using ordinary doses, the vitamin should be long out of your system. Please see your doctor to address the remaining symptoms. Seeing your doctor is preferable to urgent care, but you may also go to urgent care if usual MD is not available

The half-life (time it takes for the dose to reduce by half within the body) is about 24 hrs. By now your symptoms should be improving (although that is an unusual reaction). Give it another 5 days.
