A "Depo shot" may interfere with ovulation while still in effect, but a lack of menses "6 months after last Depo shot is unusual. See your gyn physician for an exam and other testing to establish the diagnosis, which may include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or other hormonal abnormalities.
