Unpredictable: The bleeding patterns with depoprovera are unpredictable. For some in takes the period away. For others it causes irregular bleeding. There is no "normal" for Depo-Provera users. The longer you are on it the higher the chance of no periods. Annoying but not dangerous.

Remember that hormones are one of the main regulators of neurotransmitters like Serotonin/norepinephrine. If you are having some of these Symptoms discuss alternatives with you Doctor.

If you get lightheaded and short of breath, don't forget bleeding like this can result in anemia. Consult with your doctor about an iron supplement and when it might be needed. Also ask when bleeding is sufficient to warrant going in to ER. This would be most uncommon, but some women do bleed so heavily that treatment is required at times.
