With hair loss, you minimize behaviors that worsen hair loss, e.g. traction, or pulling the hair back vigorously. A good diet is helpful. Apart from that, using hair enhancers (hair pieces) e.g. artificial hair is preferable to trying medication or hormonal manipulation. I would not limit your exercise habits unless you are severely underweight.
