10 days ago had rectal surgery and had an iv for 3 days. a few days later, had another iv placed in same vein in arm for fluids for the evening. a few days later, now i have pain in bend of my elbow by my vein. is this serious? what can i do?

The soreness around the site of your IV is normal and nothing to be worried about. Apply warm compresses tot he area.
