Sudden terrible vertigo 6 hours after pelvic exam. never had a dizzy spell in my life. had exam, took a nap, woke up and hit the floor. been dealing with it for 7 years now?

I cannot come up with any biological reason there could be a true cause and effect relationship between the symptoms & the pelvic exam. Especially separated by 6 hours. A chance association, as if you ate a burger that day would have equal impact. You likely had the issue emerge when it did by chance. Similar to developing a sudden case of appendicitis. See a neurologist for evaluation & treatment

Pelvic exams do not cause vertigo, but chronic vertigo does need to be addressed. You could possess Meniere's, other inner ear dysfunctions, and less likely vascular problems in the vertebral-basilar circulation (but unusual for your age). See an otolaryngologist, and go through otological/ audiological studies, especially a video-nystagmogram. Once diagnosis is firmly established, can address.
