You can either go in and see if this is a treatable condition like kidney disease or heart failure. You can chance dying in your sleep when the condition progresses to the point of no return. Doctors aren't that bad, but you may have had a bad experience in the past. You are free to make your own choice in such matters.

I too feel you are at great risk, and can choose your own destiny. If you do have escalating serious dysfunction, and wait too long, therapy either will fail or you could be permanently disabled. Contact a family member or a close friend and have them accompany you to an urgent care facility today.
