A member asked:

Does a lesion on the pancreas mean it is definitely cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily. A pancreatic lesion can be a cyst, adenoma or cancer. A diagnosis of cancer would require a needle aspiration or biopsy of the lesion and examination of the cell/tissue by a pathologist. Wish you good health!
