Why do i have this red rash under my breast and on the right side of under my right breast, i put some antibiotic stuff on it, not sure what else to do, i had a normal mammogram last may, this is the first day i noticed it, seeing my doctor next wk?

Can’t offer specific medical advice on this site (and can’t really tell without seeing, anyway). Could be fungal infection - if so, that won’t respond to an antibiotic.

I went to doc again about my breast abscess. Its smaller now. She put me on antibiotics for one more round. She plans to send me to a breast surgeon for a draining if needed and a u/s with biopsy. Is this reasonable? I had normal mammogram in July?
