My husband ghinks he has a trapped nerve an has a terrable itching in his neck. what is this?

Rare but possible: I have had a few patients that had itching associated with other symptoms of nerve root compression, both of which resolved after adressing the compression. However, this is a diagnosis of exclusion and other more common entities should be investigated first (allergies, dermatologic conditions, etc.).

Pruritis?: Prurits is the medical term for "ichy". Generally it does not occur with a pinched nerve.
