It's unlikely that you would have side effects from stopping it since you've only taken it for 8 days.Advise discussing with the doctor who rote the prescription .

A couple questions: Why was it started? Was the dose to be titrated upwards? Do you wish to stop due to a rash? Since this appears to be an introductory dose, stopping will unlikely result in a withdrawal reaction, but you need to discuss all of this with your doctor and NOT proceed independently, as we are not aware of the above facts and cannot provide totally reliable advice here.
