Clomid is taken to induce ovulation, which typically occurs 5-6 days after the last Clomid pill. Sexual relations can depress the sperm count, but usually will not interfere with possible pregnancy. Best results would be not to have sex within the five days after the use of Clomid, so the sperm count will be optimal when ovulation occurs.
