I have had a stomach bug for the past 6 days. symptoms: diarrhea (10 times pd, very watery) fever; cramps; headache. took loperamide on day 4, stopped stools till day 6. should i be concerned about a thick mucousy stool?

If your appetite has returned to normal and no signs of indigestion then hopefully stool will return to normal in a short while. I would be concerned about parasites like amebiasis, giardiasis and post viral IBS. Please see your doctor. Hope it helps.
