Hydroxyzine can rarely cause a rash. Ironically it is prescribed to treat allergic rashes. If it's the cause of a rash I would expect the rash to be widespread though. Nevertheless I recommend that you discontinue it, notify your physician who will examine the rash &will help you sort out the diagnosis and then recommend treatment.
