Hi, i noticed last night that my left tonsil was hurting. when i looked at it this morning, it is swollen, red, irritated and has white spots on it. my right tonsil is fine. is there anything i can do to help resolve this? do i need antibiotics?

You only need antibiotics if Strept throat. Only way to tell is to get strept swab test.
