At this time your symptoms are characteristic of a viral intestinal tract infection which should resolve after several days. Rest up, drink plenty of room temperature fluids, avoid eating harsh roughage and take kaopectate according to instructions. If diarrhea not gradually improved a stool culture for bacterial pathogens¶sites should be checked. Discuss testing instructions with your MD
