Someone told me i felt mild muscle weakness from alcohol bc it works as an anaesthetic is that dangerous bc it suppresses heart contractions also ? im confused .. thank you?

If you ever ask a patient that drinks too much alcohol, they almost always under-report the amount of alcohol they drink, I saw a young man months ago, who had liver toxicity from drinking too much alcohol and as I warned him he was convinced I spoke to his mother about his problem. There is that defensive block about alcohol - like a destructive secretive "friend" that they don't want to give up
