I am a 17 year old student. i have been taking oral contraceptives to control my heavy menstrual bleeding but i also no longer feel dizzy, lightheaded and my bp doesn't keep droping. so is it safe to continue with these pills?

Oral Contraceptives contain hormones that help to regulate your body's menstrual cycle to limit the side effects including heavy bleeding, pain, dizziness, lightheadedness and low BP. Since your symptoms are improved the medication is working. It does not mean they are cured. If you stop taking the medication, they will return. It is advised that you keep taking the pills daily.
