The age suggests that you may have dryness of your vagina wall because of changes in the hormone (estrogen) that prompt the cell lining to secrete and lubricate the vaginal. There are options of using lubricants to ease the dryness however you may want to be evaluated to make sure there is no infection and no other problem going on like the descent of the cervix or prolapse of the uterus.
