Hand weakness : Here is one possibility: this can occur as someone wears a sling for prolonged periods or hold the affected arm bent against their chest. This can lead to ulnar neuritis at the elbow and hand weakness. This typically leads to some level of numbness and tingling in the ring and small fingers.
