Subarachnoid bleeding can cause vasospam at time of event, which may lead to stroke. Your persistent imbalance, indeed, may be residua of such an event, or you may have developed secondary hydrocephalus. Both need checking out with followup imaging. Physical therapy may be very useful, and would expect improvement. Likely will take several months to stabilize fully.
