Go to pediatrician..: Some children talk sooner, some later but you want to be certain your child doesn’t have a reason to be having difficulties learning to talk-like a hearing deficit, for example. Have your pediatrician evaluate your child-if a problem is discovered, it can be treated early so the child doesn’t fall behind. If there is no problem, then you can be reassured. Get evaluation: An evaluation starting with the kids doc, a hearing test & testing by a speech and language professional is needed. The noted features document delay of speech & language development but not what could be the cause.
