Absolutely normal: At this age everything goes into the mouth...It is the child's way of exploring their surroundings; every 10 month old will act this way to some degree.

Perhaps: If it is autism there will be a lot of other symptoms. If it is a solitary act you should make sure that these things are not left around, for he will grow out of it.
