A SMALL AMOUNT OF SALIVA WILL NOT GIVE YOU A CANKER SORE BUT HERPES IS POSSIBLE IF A LARGE AMOUNT OF SALIVA CAME IN CONTACT WITH YOUR LIPS AND YOU HAVE OPEN SORES OR BLEEDING. SINCE HE HAS HAD COLD SORES ALL HIS LIFE HE HAS BEEN IN CONTACT WITH YOU MANY TIMES AND YOU NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS SO DON'T WORRY.
