Spotting/bcp ?'s: Regardless of length of time on bcp's, the dose of hormones in the current bcp's is very low, and missing even by a few hours can start light spotting. Alternative reasons for bleeding mid-cycle may be cervical inflammation, especially seen after sexual activity. See your gyn physician for an exam and other testing.
