Gyn consult: this could be perimenopausal bleeding or post menopausal bleeding and both should be evaluated by a gynecologist. In addition to a pelvic examination to look for a cervical polyp, you probably need either a pelvic ultrasound or endometrial biopsy. A pap may be needed as well.
