Likely tonsil stone: Let's assume it is located on/in your tonsil. Sounds like a tonsil stone from your description. They are very common. They come and go. Sometimes painful; usually not. Not sure why you don't think it is a tonsil stone. Doesn't sound like it is anything you should worry about. While not "normal," it is acceptable as a "normal" variation. One test you might do is to taste one of these. Horrible!
