Hello. i was put on progesterone december due to threatened miscarriage. i am now 21 weeks , and experience dizziness and headache. how long do i continue progesterone for?

Pregnancy/progestins: A threatened miscarriage with hx bleeding between 6-8 weeks of pregnancy secondary to inadequate progesterone production by the placenta, does not require progesterone after uneventful progression to "21 weeks" of pregnancy. Ask for a second opinion by a referral to another OB physician or inquire of your present OB physician about continued progesterone treatment.
