Hi, my son who is 6 has just been nipped by our dog on his bottom and its made a bruise and small graze, it was through his pants, not straight on to his skin. does he need to go in for an injection?

Dog bite: Dog bites can be sources of infection. Your son should be seen by a Dr to evaluate the bite area. If your Dog is completely vaccinated then there is no chance of rabies. BUT, since your dog has bitten a human, it should be assumed that it will bite again, and should therefore be kept under strict control away from others.
