I am currently pregnant and have been admitted in hospital for treatment of uti, however now it has advanced since i've been out of hospital. how long will it take to clear? i have been on antibiotics for 4 days excl 1 day in hospital?

Return to Dr: In any infection being treated with antibiotics, If the symptoms are worsening, you need to return to the Dr who originally diagnosed the illness and prescribed the medication. It is possible that you have an infection that is resistant to the type of antibiotic you have been given. In this case, they will have to treat you with a different antibiotic.
