Need Exam: The skin of the perineum should be somewhat flexible aloowing you to have sex without tearing or splitting. When that does occur, it could just be that you are unlucky and it is normal for you. But it could also indicate a more significant problem with that tissue. You should see your gynecologist for an exam and testing as necessary to define the problem. Whatever is going on is likely treatable.
