I just switched bp meds from amlodipine to linsinopril 2 days ago. is it okay to switch back to amlodipine after 2 days on linsinopril? just need to know for tonight. tomorrow i will talk with my doctor?

Hope it is timely re: Yes, you can switch BP-medicines as the degree of benefit is about same among these classes of drugs. Of course it takes 3-4 weeks of continued treatment in order to determine the full efficacy of an antihypertensive drug.
