Do NOT advise: Inversion tables can be very harmful to senior citizens, and this includes retinal detachments, headaches, worsening of arthritic problems, even potential brain bleeding (subdural hematoma). Why not see your doctor, obtain imaging, and find out if there are disc problems in lumbar spine similar to prior neck issues? Physical therapy may be very valuable.
