Sure: Itchy rash may be benefitted from calamine especially if it is the phenolated variety. This also keeps you from tearing fragile skin. If the cause is skin infection and that skin is involved/broken, it may may become irritated by the lotion.

Yes, you may use Calamine lotion for the itchy rash. Make sure you complete the treatment for the Staph infection.
