A member asked:

Hey, i had possible exposure on the 1st of sept 2020, protected sex ( unprotected oral ). after 123 days i took hiv ag/ab (cmia) test and the result came back non-reactive (0.29). re-test required? can it be a false negative? i'm having anxiety?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No : Negative CMIA test at 4 months = negative test. Period. (CMIA = 4th generation HIV test. VERY accurate)
